Hospital, Critical Illness & Cancer Insurance

Supplemental cash benefits for specific covered health events.

Hospital indemnity, critical illness, and cancer policies pay benefits according to the contract when specified events or diagnoses occur. Depending on the policy, benefits may be paid directly to the insured and used for medical or everyday expenses.

What to know

Start with the purpose, then compare the contract.

Insurance is not one-size-fits-all. We look at the need, budget, time horizon, health history when relevant, and the features that matter before discussing available products.

  • Hospital confinement or admission benefits may be available
  • Critical illness lump-sum or scheduled benefits may be available
  • Cancer-specific benefits may be available
  • Benefits and payment methods vary by policy
Before you decide

Know the tradeoff.

These are supplemental insurance products, not comprehensive health coverage. They do not cover every illness, cancer, treatment, hospital service, or expense. Definitions, waiting periods, preexisting-condition limitations, exclusions, recurrence rules, and benefit caps may apply.

Serving Southern Nevada

Local guidance without pretending every city needs a different policy.

Insurance rules and carrier availability generally apply at the state level, not by city. We serve Nevada clients throughout Clark and Nye counties, including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Mesquite, Boulder City, and Pahrump.

A careful comparison

Questions before an application.

What is guaranteed?

Only guarantees stated in the issued policy apply. Non-guaranteed projections, dividends, and index-crediting outcomes can change.

When does coverage begin?

Coverage begins only as stated by the insurer after application, underwriting when required, approval, premium, delivery, and any other policy conditions.

Should I replace existing coverage?

Not automatically. Replacement can restart contestability periods, require new underwriting, increase cost, or remove valuable benefits. Compare both contracts first.
